i just had lunch with a friendly bloke i know called ‘jarr geerligs’ who introduced me to his ‘unhomies’ which is a project from his own foundation ‘for a better world’: global wellness, you can see them all on his flickr set

here are my (one) two favourite commercials in the cannes selection from this year winners at the advertising festival… a little gem about the horses ass and a trailer for the BBC, they are only online for a limited time so be quick…

i have just received a copy of the japanese magazine ‘idea’ special on ‘wim crouwel’ which is beautifully made and includes a decent facsimile of his ‘new alphabet’ from 1967, which was once used by peter saville for a joy division album cover… there are also some very interesting preliminary sketches for his fonts in the rear section… worth checking

some nice building sized images on a bookstore in amsterdam, meant to promote a book, they remind me of the project i did with alex ten napel (see me work) but these are more spectacular as they are pasted over the whole building… i love the technique, looks great
