my friend dominic davies mailed me this weekend, he spotted this logo on a builders van in amsterdam: ‘i assume wolff ollins weren’t involved on this one and that it probably didn’t cost quite the same amount as the new olympics logo… and i suspect he may be right…

wednesday was spent in a photo studio (again!) working with krijn van noordwijk making an image for a poster for a well-known dutch stand-up comedian (more news soon) it was a fun shoot and he did a great job, the shoot involved a great deal of gaffer tape, an acupuncture specialist, a dummy’s head, a straight-jacket and lots of patience on behalf of the comedian, who was subjected to a lot of uncomfortable moments during the day… the good thing about being an art-director is that you usually don’t have to stand in front of the camera… krijn decided that i should stand in front for a change, as you can see below…
