transient art

i just popped out to the shops and right around the corner on a bridge on the ‘singel’ canal (in the posh part of town) there is a massive ice sculpture spelling the word ‘hebzucht’ (greed) in large letters filled with coloured fluffy balls…

i had no idea what i was supposed to do/feel or what it wanted to say… so i did what all the other posh people were doing too, i made a picture of it with my posh digital camera, never mind, the sun was out so it will be gone tomorrow..

new name, new outfit

my good friends at bike film are finally getting rid of the logo i made for them (about 6 years ago) and are changing over to ‘caviar’ with a new identity (which i will be helping them to create) so, they are throwing a party to celebrate the event tomorrow night in town

a party worth gatecrashing, if you can… this young lady (on the invite) will need to change her outfit tomorrow night, as george bernard shaw once said:

caviar needs no occasion.
it is one.

simple but effective

very effective use of morphing in this film showing 500 years of beauty ideals packed into less than three minutes

less work, more fun?

my friend ‘alex scholing’ has just released an official beta-release of his new design project management software ‘burodok’ the free beta can be downloaded here, alex is a designer and like most of us, hates the ‘admin’… that’s why his software is idiot-proof (apparently) so i’m going to test that claim for him, that’s the good news…

and now the bad news: you won’t have much luck if you don’t speak dutch… (at least with the current release) maybe he will introduce language versions if it’s a success
