the good people from the house of orange are launching their new publication with a big bash next friday for issue number 1… somebody quite special will be spinning records according to rumours

i’ve always admired freitag as a brand… they make a good product (which always helps) but they also seem to be very consistent in the way they profile themselves, the way they communicate and they take their recycling seriously, using old truck tarpaulins, car seatbelts and bicycle tyres as base materials… the logo and corporate id is also nice and simple

the image below is their zurich office, made of recycled sea containers which is maybe not very original except they have literally stacked them vertically, very nice

mannschaft have designed a book to commemorate the ‘post cs’ building which houses the stedelijk museum, club 11 and various creative companies, the reason is very sad because the building is closing after four very successful years, the book presentation is at ‘post cs’ on thursday evening next week
