one of the many jobs going through the studio at the moment (it’s very busy) is a corporate identity for a new multimedia company called ‘get across’ the brief was ‘simple and not too flashy’ more news on this one soon

every now and then someone makes an invention that makes you wonder ‘how did we ever get by before this exsisted?’ like say electricity, the telephone or the internet…

so just take a look at julius von bismarck’s topshot helmet, wow… i realy need one of them! his image fulgurator is probably almost as essential…

on tuesday i visited this amazing empty warehouse space in the hague, it is the location for a large (modern) dance event which i will be taking part in later this year…

i have been asked to join a team which will be made up of choreographers, dancers, graffitti artists, painters, photographers, djs etc. etc.
we will be collaborating on all aspects of the production from dance to sound, interiors and even workshops for children…

it’s one of the most unusual and ‘undefined’ briefs i have ever worked on and i’m really looking forward to it…

following on from my contact with the belgian designer ‘hugo puttaert’ last week, here is a link to the belgian poster competition, there is a definite difference in style and esthetics compared to holland, judging by these entries … the site also offers some links to other belgian design groups, photographers etc…
