spot the difference

walmart have this to say about their brand new logo restyle:

This update to the logo is simply a reflection of the refresh taking place inside our stores and our renewed sense of purpose to help people save money so they can live better.

euh yeah… if they had just waited 46 years and done nothing, they might have saved themselves a few pennies… hilarious

another corporate identity that is going through the studio currently: for new film production company ‘suikerdepot’ (sugardepot) together with my intern ‘dylan’ we have created a whole alphabet using a small piece of paper and sugar cubes, more news very soon…

the ‘innocent/ben & jerry’s’ look

naive colourful drawings and funny copy seems to have become a shorthand for ‘we really care about the planet’ for many brands, like simple shoes for example
