time lapse films seem to be a bit of a rage judging by what’s going on right now on ‘flickr’ and ‘you tube’, like this japanese girl who took pictures of herself everyday for three years

plus ça change, plus c’est la même as they say in france…

here’s the final image that ‘ruud baan’ and i made together last week, i made the type with gaffer tape using the camera’s viewpoint…

‘graham peake’ from two design (unusual site for a design firm) sent me some input for my ‘define design’ project, not strictly definitions but still interesting:

When you work, remember as (graphic) designers, in front of the client we are like swans, stylish and smooth above the water, but thrashing away in the studio underneath…

if in doubt, leave it out…

the first is probably a quote from ‘ken garland’, the second from designer ‘derek birdsall’ on the occasion of his 60th birthday… many thanks graham and: keep them coming!

i really like these typographic book covers for the dutch versions of the ‘john irving’ novels, from the (amsterdam based) quirky named dog and pony who are a new name for me…
