one of the largest and best independent stock libraries i know is the fabulous spaarnestad with a very comprehensive image bank of the netherlands in the 20th century, always worth a look…
it had to happen…
somebody tried to steal the coins in the ‘sagmeister’ installation in amsterdam this weekend, so the police scraped them off the floor to prevent any further theft!
here’s a time-lapse film of the police ‘undoing’ some public art, anybody who is desperate enough to spend hours scraping 1 eurocent coins off the street isn’t really a big threat surely?
