things have been quiet on the blog for a few days, while i’ve been sorting some stuff out… well the guy who borrowed my work went offline about two minutes after i mailed him, let’s hope it’s permanent… that really pissed me off… (see earlier post) on the other hand i am delighted to say that i have just won a new (small) client today… in the dance sector, more news when possible on this one…

the dda 2009 is now open for entry, just like last year i am doing talent scouting (together with 13 others), if you feel you have made anything worth entering or know of someone else who has made something that deserves entry please let me know… i’d be glad to hear from you, this also includes student work, after all the overall winner last year was a student…
ladies and gentlemen… meet the graphic volcano a company from dubai run by ‘abd elkader dress’ a designer with lots of ‘philosophies’ and ideas about design but who is apparently so busy he doesn’t have time to make any work so just steals other peoples… (see portfolio > posters)
please pass this on to others and let everybody know that a lot of peoples’ work is being stolen by unethical so-called designers… we have sent them an email and will let you know what their reaction is…
they are even claiming to be making a design book and asking for entries, a great way to collect work to steal for your own portfolio i guess…(many thanks to ‘sjoerd’ for bringing this despicable practice to my attention)
