lernert engelberts has made a great short series of online films with the above title, the idea is to put a series of artists of all kinds in a room with their parents and get them to discuss their work together, a simple idea that works very well… featuring amongst others my friend ‘martin de waal’ and photographer ‘levi van veluw’ see the lot here unfortunately (for the foreign readers) they are only in dutch

the conspiracy theories just keep on coming, this interview was sent out on danish TV last week (thanks to my good mate mate steve in london for the tip)

i’ve been getting some very positive reactions from the ‘obama’ piece, lots of emails requesting a copy (particularily from the US) and various blog shout outs this week, like the wooden toy quarterly and a flattering review from a chap in berlin

the complete set of typo films shown at the recent ‘upload cinema’ venue are now available for viewing online, including some classics, like jarret mood’s much imitated ‘marcellus wallace’ film, but the most notable entry was in fact not really a ‘typo film’ at all, although as the person who entered it (erik kessels) explained himself: ‘it doesn’t contain any letters but feels like a typographic film to me’ well quite… the extraordinary film (entitled ‘souvenir de chine’) can also be seen here
