the recently released catalogue/book accompanying the exhibition ‘off the record’ with hans aarsman’s photography selection for the amsterdam municipal art acquistions has been designed by ‘sabine verschueren’ and is in my opinion absolutely beautiful…
she has provided optimal space for the imagery whilst small double-sided, bi-lingual text sheets pasted between the pages divulge the context behind the eclectic collection of snapshots, the combination literally gives the book a depth of information layers and makes it an intriguing read… great stuff

these two large dutch cities have had a legendary rivalry for years and this mug design offers an amusing reaction from someone in rotterdam to the amsterdam ‘san andreas’ crosses logo, shame it isn’t very well designed though…
