i stumbled across this wonderful new british magazine this week: flamingo: a small format simpatico magazine with a whiff of alternative culture that ‘celebrates doing it yourself’ a timely notion in these troubled times and a magazine with a worthy message instead of just more crap you and i do not need, take a look… it took me a while to realise that it is completely devoid of adverts
yesterday was, i think, the first time i have ever received payment for talking to students; this shiny ‘behance’ sovereign was handed to me at the end of the lecture i did yesterday together with ‘jeroen disch’ from ‘lava’ for the ‘behance portfolio reviews’, many thanks to ‘maarten and rob’ from ‘autobahn’ for the invite it was fun… see you next time
we are back in the studio this week for the dutch national ballet, shooting a complete season in 4 days with ‘ruud baan’ and some very talented dancers
i am also doing a presentation on ‘presentations’ later today, for the behance portfolio review week in utrecht, together with ‘jeroen disch’ from ‘lava’
