update: an even better image of the ‘façade’ billboard from (kessels & aarsman) just arrived in my inbox, halfway through erecting the image, she looked like it was a bit less fun… (thanks to ‘claartje’ for the image)
here are the two films just made for ‘pearle’ opticians by lernert & sander (for ‘monodot’ belgium), it puts a whole angle on two-dimensional characters in films

the latest of the ‘façade’ billboards went up in amsterdam early today: a picture from a medical book, chosen by ‘erik kessels & hans aarsman’ as their ‘useful photography’ contribution to the project, next week the final one goes up and the book goes to print, this wide-mouthed lady one can be seen on the ‘spui’ in town…
