the ‘rietveld academy’ graduation show opens this week, it is usually well worth the visit and judging by these fabulous posters and flyers (all uncredited) this year will be no exception, through till the 11th of july…
new work
i am currently starting work on two new book projects, an overview of the façade recycled billboard project (unique handmade covers are looking like a serious option right now) and a book for talented illustrator / artist ‘martyn f. overweel’, more news hopefully soon…
dda 2010
congratulations to all of the finalists in this years dda awards, my ‘generations’ illustration was actually nominated but didn’t make it into the final rounds, oh well maybe next year… good luck to everyone on the list in october… if the dda’s website jittery flash interface annoys you, this article is a lot easier to navigate
first class
the dutch post office have ditched their pricing system for stamps, opting instead for first & second class, luckily they asked the designer responsible for the old ones hansje to revamp her own work, personally i’m glad that that awful mint green colour has been replaced too, nice work…
