the first few pieces for our new identity for open-air photo festival ‘fotofestival naarden’ due to open in late spring 2013, the images are from a series of vagrants shot by ‘jan banning’ in the united states which will be featured in naarden

see the previous identity work for the 2011 edition here and here, the new work is based on the same (scanned) plastic template letters used in the previous edition, which was the intention to provide some form of continuity across the range

some great news i wanted to share this morning: we have just been commissioned to create a new visual identity (online & offline) for the renowned metropole orkest, the refreshed identity should be launched sometime early next year…
now back to work

visited yesterday with the family: the revamped and revitalised stedelijk museum
finally back (on the original site) after 10 years absence; it’s been too long… but it looks amazing and if you ask me now that the new (& much criticised) identity by mevis en van deursen has been implemented and started to come to life around the museum i think that it actually works really well (i had decided to not join the flood of negative comment on the logo until seeing the whole story)

i’m looking forward to seeing the world première tonight of the theater production ‘trash cuisine’ by dissident white russian theater group ‘belarus free theater’
for which ‘me studio’ made the campaign imagery, hoardings, flyers and posters…
