‘en publique’ are a new name to me and i really like this poster of theirs, it is for a series of lectures by dutch novelist ‘arnon grunberg’ at a dutch university on the subject of ‘manipulation and power’ the solution: two separate posters of his face divided in two and set at odd angles so that the posters can be combined together to clone and manipulate his face in different ways… good work guys, i really like it…
these two odd people are one of my favourite clients, ‘nathalie’ & ‘matthijs’ are the creators of the ‘dingen’ childrens book series which i design (see ‘me work’) there are two new editions due early 2010 but in the meantime they are going to pick up a prize for ‘best new children’s book’ tomorrow night at the newly refurbished ‘rijksmuseum’ in amsterdam, they are one of the six winners and well deserved it is too
the penselen exhibition will be open to the public from thursday… so congratulations from me (see you tomorrow night) and also thanks for being such an odd client…
