well, apple have finally released their iphone for people with extremely poor eyesight; two words come to mind, fashion and accessory…

gallery ‘liefhertje en de grote witte reus’ in the hague; are hosting an unlikely duo expo with ‘krista van der niet and ‘natascha libbert’ opening on the 12th of feb…

(by the way, that’s a gallery called ‘sweet little deer & the big white giant’ in case you were wondering, i’m curious what that sounds like when they answer the phone… maybe i’ll give it a try)

interesting new identity project from london studio ‘johnson banks’ who have created a multi-layered (& coloured) modular logo and corresponding housestyle for ‘the pew’, more info here, judging by the implementations shown on the site it seems to work fairly well in various situations (the signage where colour no longer plays a role being one of my favourites)

but the identity also, to my mind, represents a modern phenomenon in the sense that is seems clearly to have been designed with online and digital applications in mind (the logo animatic) above the traditional print and letterhead elements which seem more of an afterthought to me… still nice job!…
