here’s another crowdsource project (i decide to skip this one, there’s only so many of these you can do) posters to celebrate 50 years of the city of brasilia, bit of a ‘mixed bag’ this lot…

it would seem that i missed a birthday, the ‘me blog’ turned four a few weeks ago, the first post was fairly appropriately about a time capsule

talking of time, you learn something every day (well i do) it seems that there is a phenomenon called internet time or rather, the unix time stamp which was born on the first of january 1970, unfortunately however, due to a 32 bit overflow (umm ?) the world is going to explode in 2038…

…on january the 19th just in case you want to note it in your diary…

the blog is four but ‘me studio’ was actually already running before we went online and the studio’s fifth anniversary is coming up (08/08 at 8.08 pm) and i might actually do something special this year…

i think i like it… but i’m not sure: a poster for amsterdam’s alternative art fair ‘de kunst vlaai’ which has been rather amusingly translated into english as ‘art pie’ (couldn’t see a credit for the design)

making a joke about bombing an airport on twitter can be an expensive habit, this is actually really shocking…

…so I saw all of these mediocre pictures of that volcano in Iceland nobody can pronounce the name of, so I figured I should go and do better. But the flights to get over took forever as expected (somewhat). 4 days after leaving I finally made it, but the weather was terrible for another 4. Just before leaving it got pretty good for about a day and a half and this is what I managed to get…

personally i find it a bit over-romantic (especially the plane shots) and very ‘music video’ style but still, it does look impressive
