i guess i have to accept the fact that there are always enough people who are willing to take part in ‘free’ design competitions, for the chance of immortality… so there are always going to be enough companies who take advantage of that fact too
for example: the amsterdam public transport company ‘gvb’ are inviting you to deface a tram without being prosecuted, for free of course… (dutch only)
i really love this funky chest of drawers, but hang on a minute £2.700 ?!?! i could make one myself for less, that’s not a bad idea actually… and more original
the premsela design institute has just announced a new director to replace the man with a rather extravagant taste in knitted sweaters: ‘dingeman kuilman’, he will be followed up in january 2011 by ‘els van der plas’ currently director of the ‘prins claus fund’ and a client of mine… i wish them both good luck, now and then
or do you find it diffcult to choose an appropriate font? this might help, although if you need a chart like this to choose a font, i would suggest going to study design & typography first…
