during a recent visit to amsterdam, stefan sagmeister showed a brief glimpse of his latest project which has now officially been released this week: a radio-controlled car/book on culture for BMW, in true sagmeister hype-style the book has a limited edition of 1488 copies, each with a unique cover that when laid out together combine to make a 7 x 7 meter visualisation of BMW’s famous offices…
the book is of course not for sale and therefore already much in demand…
an annual report reduced down to less than three minutes of easy to understand images… made by my friends at ‘fabrique’ for dutch financial institute ‘SNS Reaal’ looks great but i still don’t trust banks even if they look this fun…
i’m back, got rid of the flu, had a relaxed weekend and now it’s back to work (and more fun), a visit from a charming group of young design students from new york to the studio this afternoon took up most of my ‘inspiration’ time today, so the blog will be back to work from tomorrow… thanks for the patience…
a combination of some highly overdue rest, time to unwind & think, the need recharge the batteries and an earnest attempt at getting rid of a very persistent bout of flu’… all mean that me studio will be offline for a few days, see you next week
