this afternoon foam is going to launch a new exhibition ‘the future of the photography museum’ for which four different guest curators (lauren cornell, jefferson hack, erik kessels, alison nordström) are going to be examining possible future scenarios…
sounds intriguing, the launch is today at 7pm, in their new temporary exhibition space, right here in my office building…
it looks like the now defunct ‘super 8’ film technique, could be getting a sort of revival of sorts, with lomo stepping into motion cameras

dutch TV guide ‘vpro gids’ has a really nice, simple ‘tactile’ cover illustration this week, for a program entitled ‘the pin’… credited to their own in-house design team
the ‘jewish historical museum’ in amsterdam has just opened an exhibition on the work of new york photographer saul leiter called: new york reflections, the exhibition focuses on his street photography from the 50s, shot largely in colour…. even though i haven’t been yet it has got to be worth the trip…
