on the way to a client this week, we came across this very old logo (still in use) for a very old dutch removals firm, but we didn’t entirely agree: erik thinks it’s ok & I think it’s fantastic, it dates from a time when basic geomteric shapes were ‘de rigeur’ and it says what it needs to say, I believe actually that it was designed by the dutch master Piet Zwart in the 1930’s

the version I found on their website (see insert) is actually better than the sign on their building: the D is closer and forms a better arrow shape… (if anyone can actually confirm who designed it, please mail me, see our e-mail address to the left)
