I came across an old highway code book from the early sixties that I’ve owned for years, the info graphics are fantastic; it’s printed in six spot colours…apparently full colour (CMYK) lithography was more expensive than printing in six spot colours at the time, it’s all been separated by hand, with big colour masks like the little red car shown here… somethings haven’t changed though, british policeman still look ridiculous today
