I came across this amazing cast-iron safe last week, it was built into the wall of an old Amsterdam house that belonged to a diamond-cutter in the 19th century, the whole front of the safe was hand painted and stil in very good condition

IM (identity matters) magazine has written an article this month about the ballet poster show, the deadline for the show however, has been extended untill the end of october, if you’re interested it’s in the public gallery in ‘Het Muziektheater’ on Waterlooplein.

the two ballet posters for ‘hollandse school’ have been nominated for the theater affiche prijs 06 (theater poster awards 2006) which is very flattering :) you can read about it here and all of the nominated work can be seen here including the ‘tweetakt’ poster made by ‘hotel’, which I think is a good contender… good luck to all the nominees
