that’s it the jury has reached a verdict, I suppose that the thing about democracy is that you can’t please all of the people all of the time but it’s a pretty good average of what most of us think, most of the time…the results are under embargo so I can’t really say much more than that…
today was day one of the two-day graphic design jury for the dutch art directors club awards, there was a lot of animated discussion and viewpoints flying across the table, it was a long
day and we still have a lot to do tomorrow, difficult to say what kind of jury we’ve been till we’re finished… a lot of good work has already been ‘dismissed’ in my opinion…

a box of shiny magenta cds arrived from france this week, part of the third (and final) volume of my ‘top 100’ series designed for Davide Bertocchi an italian artist resident in Paris… the project has finally come to an end after three years… except Davide has asked me to make a special or unusual piece of packaging to box them all together in a limited edition run… I guess it will have to be black
