i was in london this afternoon and spotted this really old austin healey in soho, with a beautiful old fashioned 3D metal ‘A’ badge


here’s the little intro film I made for the PANL awards last night, despite checking everything worked in advance, my computer somehow let me down and the film wouldn’t play… I eventually got it to work after the awards, so the intro became an outro… which was quite fortunate because it seemed to work better when the audience had already seen the pictures featured in the film… mistakes aren’t necessarily a bad thing… to view the movie follow this link be patient: it’s 10 MB

the lower image is a hawaiian shirt made from the old dutch 10 guilder note that someone once gave me, which I really liked but the japanese one I think looks amazing…

I am very fortunate to be paying a visit to japan (tokyo in particular) this month for two weeks, strictly for inspiration purposes…whilst looking around on the web for a translation of ‘me studio’ into japanese (which I found) I came across a japanese firm with the same name and a… well… similar logo…oops, no idea what they do: i can’t read japanese
