new images and minor updates have been added to ‘me work’

me studio got a mention on the serif today, looks like jim liked that funky penguin cover (see below) too, the day was spent in another photo studio shooting another image: ‘sleeping beauty’ for the dutch national ballet, with ruud baan again

this time with one dancer, the very friendly ‘ruta’ from latvia, who didn’t even complain when we hung her from the ceiling all afternoon…(it will be worth it, trust me ruta!) and also today a new client approached me for a corporate identity for a multimedia organisation, the ballet images will be online soon…

i’ve been very busy this week, tuesday was spent indoors in ‘de oude kerk’ (the oldest church in amsterdam in the red light district) doing a shoot for the new romeo + julia production for the dutch national ballet (see above & below) all went went smoothly and as always, ruud baan did a great job…

i found some 1960’s penguin paperbacks this weekend from the green crime series art-directed by germano facetti (one of the very best who worked for penguin) i especially like the brown one which is an interesting psychedelic variation using the green background as a spot colour in the illustration instead of as an overall colour, funky colours, they still look fresh…

I’ve just completed two jobs (including an annual report) for a new client dance4life both jobs are going to press this week, makes a nice change from classical ballet to techno and hip-hop…
