i regularly have a sneak at the vistor maps for my website and although i’ve lived in holland for 18 years i never knew there was a place with a name like that!
so many thanks to the site visitor from ‘big trousers’ for making me smile today… (no really)
the project ‘atelier tipografic – romania – olanda’ which is hosting the exhibition i have been invited to take part in, in bucharest have launched a temporary website in english, which explains some more about the project, the site will be updated as the exhibition preparations advance towards the opening date…
i spoke to julius vermeulen from ‘TNT Post’ this morning and he told me about a new site they have launched recently, which documents the design heritage (past and present) of the dutch post office, in particular the stamp designs… the site is unfortunately only in dutch and the navigation is a bit ‘mad’ but it’s still worth a look (pressing the ‘start iconen van de post’ link launches the icon parade… i hope you don’t get sea-sick

i have just added some early sketches for a corporate identity (see ‘me work’) for a new media company, which (although, i was very pleased with them) are not being used… the work dates back to late july… but i waited to see what was actually chosen and used by this client before publishing this work… oh well, some you win…
