chunky book
currently working on two picture books for small kids with nathalie who i made the ‘playmobiel’ project with 2 years back
i’ve always wanted to make one of those small books with really chunky carboard pages
if it ain’t broke… don’t fix it
me studio ran out of business cards, so i updated them with a complete new series of eight different ones, still using the thermal ink technique but with all kinds of extra tricky details in the text and reversed out type in the thermal ink… they’ve turned out well, nicely printed too (more: ‘me work’)

this guy has some amazing work and a beautifully complex site, i’m told by a reliable (japanese) source that he’s one of the ‘hot’ designers in japan at the moment, haven’t had time to have a proper look yet (it’ll take ages this one) but what i’ve seen so far looks great…
