these two children’s books i’ve just completed, called ‘indoor things’ and ‘outdoor things’ are going to press in japan this week, the first in a (hopefully) long series
they are picture dictionaries for small kids featuring everyday objects shot in a nice simple way, the concept is by ‘nathalie faber’ and the images were shot by ‘matthijs immink’ more news on these when they arrive back from the printers, in a few months…
a friend of mine ‘lion’ made this great image of the dutch national ballet in the process of dismantling their shop-window display that was installed in a department store window on dam square in amsterdam… nice, thanks mate
the organisation of atelier tipografic have made a newspaper following on from the exhibition last november, in romania in which my work was featured
the presentation is taking place om monday the 3rd of march at the ‘premsela’ design institute
the new ballet poster came back from the printers this week, the silver text has turned out very well, slightly too big to hold up properly when making a picture of it though…
‘mr lee’ the cat that makes a record of his life has just been given a photography award here in the netherlands, like most cats he seems to enjoy sitting under cars, unlike most cats he takes a camera with him congratulations mister lee!
