here are some of my found type images from the recent berlin trip (plenty more to come this week)

the dutch TV station NPS is broadcasting a documentary in the ‘holland doc’ series on JR’s faces project this evening at 23:45 (dutch only)

i found a very interesting book on ‘peter saville’ in berlin that i hadn’t ever heard of

i know, there are already plenty of books and material published on this subject, but this particular one entitled ‘estate 1 – 127’ is made as a an auction catalogue showing much previously unpublished material & found objects that formed the inspiration for some of his better known designs… great stuff

photographer corriette schoenaerts sent me a copy of a new magazine ‘form is content’ which she made some images for (thanks corriette!) the magazine is new and was made by the very friendly guys from 178… you can order a copy from them, i haven’t read it yet but perhaps that’s not necessary, form is (they say) content

my good friend steve brought this magazine over from london featuring the world’s very first ‘real 3d cover’ (maybe not)… it’s actually a piece of embossed plastic with a raised surface (like those old-fashioned school maps) and it’s possibly one of the most tasteless thing i’ve ever seen… yuk
