yesterday afternoon i attended the presentation by stefan sagmeister in amsterdam, as usual he was very entertaining and even though i’ve heard him speak several times before, it never tires… his work is love or hate for most people but the anecdotes are often just as interesting as the work itself, he had some great stories to tell like the background info on this ‘piss typography’ which was originally made as a cover for the japanese ‘esquire’ magazine, but was rejected because a major advertiser ‘nissan cars’ felt he was insulting them (the car in the background turned out to be a nissan… ha!ha!)
real groupies can take part and make their own ‘3d diary entry’ on the special site here but do try and be original, there are some really bad ones…
