turner duckworth have just won the first cannes ‘design grand prix’ for their coca cola re-branding, love the truck, but i bet it doesn’t work that well in real life (i.e. not on a white background)

i’ve just completed my latest poster for the dutch national ballet, this one if for the ‘rudi van dantzig’ festival in september…
the image was made by ‘gertjan evenhuis’ fine artist (and rudi’s partner) i didn’t art-direct the image as it was already completed beforehand…
i attended the ‘dutch graphic culture awards’ accolade this afternoon, including the yearly student prize and a special award for the city of ‘eindhoven’ praised for it’s commitment to design across the board in the last few years, so that’s a big thumbs down to the city of amsterdam that likes to claim to be the heart of the so-called ‘creative industry’ but let’s the dutch design prizes ‘escape’ to eindhoven due to a lack of local funding…
