these are a few of the ballet posters that i still like but which never made it into print, either rejected or cancelled for various reasons… i just felt like showing them because i had them printed up anyway this week
the images were made (respectively from top to bottom) by joris jan bos, ruud baan and eric hijweege’, the second one was produced but only at a small size (A2) and in a slightly different layout…
we tried making some sugar-flavoured letters for a new corporate identity yesterday, no luck… getting the right consistency is really difficult… more news on this job for a new film producxtion company to follow soon
piet ‘parra’ spends some of the time he doesn’t dedicate to making beautiful artwork to mixing his own (very noisy) mash-ups, as the parra soundsystem i’ll be honest… it’s not my thing
dutch new media agency ‘mediamatic’ are giving away their entire library of books as a protest action against the impending government arts funding cuts… maybe not the best way to protest if you ask me, but if you pop round on the 28th you can help them protest by taking away 25 years worth of books for free… dutch (only) explanation here
