dutch author, max bruisma’s article about ‘erotic typography’ i found following a link on beeke’s site… interesting stuff!

anton beeke was an influential designer for me long before i ever came to holland or had the chance to meet him and last time i checked to see his work online he didn’t appear to have a site, that has now chamged or perhaps i just didn’t look very hard

the parts of his work which i like the most are generally those pieces of an erotic or sexual nature in some way, like those examples show here

there is also a long article on the site about the bizzare legal battle with the artist behind the ‘louis vuitton’ plagiarised version of his naked alphabet dating from 1970

belgian photographer stephan van fleteren always shoots in black & white and his main areas of interest are portrait and documentary photography, in particular social issues like poverty, at home in belgium as well as in second & third world countries such as columbia or kosovo

the little gif animation sequence on this page is also nice…

the polish have long held a tradition for strong and distinctive poster design and the work of this designer ‘jerzy czerniawski’ is probably fairly representative of the standard… the quality of these images is absolutely amazing, i have no credits on these except a date for the top one: 1987
