the new series of posters for concert hall ‘de doelen’ in rotterdam made by my friends from koeweiden postma are winning awards all over the place, they are typical ‘koeweiden’ work, the shape in the middle is a reference to the architecture of the building and gives them an overall similar feel, whilst allowing the posters to use all kinds of different imagery and colour schemes, very nice…
danish photographerkim høltermand is always worth checking… i would really like to use his images for something in the near future
here is a new online image editor it all seems fairly simple & ‘idiot proof’ for basic adjustments, i won’t be throwing photoshop away just yet though…
i had been discussing the possibilty of writing for the dutch design portal design dot nl on a regular basis as from september, but i have decided not to go ahead with it, shame but then again it frees up more time to spend on the ‘me’ blog, incidentally just in case anybody wondered why there is virtually no punctuation and capital letters on this site: well… i hate capital letters and am way too lazy to put commas in the, right, place,
after all we don’t talk in capital letters so why write them? at least that’s my excuse…
