they have some very interesting speakers including ‘femke hulshof’ (artbuyer at VBAT) but then again i would say that she’s my partner :) more info here
the tap 08 awards ceremony was yesterday afternoon and i just about got away with my hastily prepared talk, here’s the picture of the audience that i took and promised to post, next time i’ll check it’s in focus first (that’s esther the winner sat next to the big green arrow) congratulations!
it was nice to see everyone again and it’s a shame not everyone can win because they were all fantastic posters, i was in good company… lex reitsma’s nominated poster below is a really crafted piece of design, if you ask me
the organisation asked me to do a live radio interview afterwards, so i had to rush off to the ‘radio 1’ studios in hilversum for the ‘BNN Today’ show which was fun, although they ambushed me with questions i wasn’t expecting and gave really daft answers to! oh well…
the theater institute contacted me this afternoon to check on my presentation for tomorrow afternoon… trouble is, due to a misunderstanding on my part (i think) i haven’t made a presentation… yet… great so that gives me exactly 24 hours to think of something… oops, there’s nothing like a deadline to get me inspired…
