unfortunately i cannot rememeber where i found these stamp designs, but they are worth a mention
the first is a set of beautiful polish stamps commemorating the space race (early 60’s ?) and some israeli ones (70’s i think) that still look very fresh…
this post is, i suppose, pretty ironic after my previous one: about people checking their sources when referencing material online…
the web is a great phenomenon and it’s the quickest way to find well almost anything really, but it also has many downsides
whilst doing a ‘vanity check’ and googling myself (come on, we’ve all done it!) this week, i came across this website that has credited me with the new ‘hema’ corporate identity… i can only assume that they also googled ‘hema logo’ came across the critical article i wrote about it earlier this year, didn’t bother to read it and assumed it was also my work… all credit goes, of course, to these guys which was clearly stated if they had bothered to read the text
being persistant and turning up when you say you will, isn’t necessarily always a good thing…
my girlfriend declared me to be mad when i left in the pouring rain (i am) to go and help with the sagmeister installation early this morning, i waited around got wet and nobody turned up, great stuff…
