i came across this interesting set of posters and pamphlets for a political organisation in belgium called ‘attac’

the whole series seems to have been made by a designer called ‘titom’ more of his posters plus preliminary sketch work can be seen here (french only)

i find it quite interesting to see a modern variation of old style political and ideological posters of a type that hardly exsist these days, the illustration style however is sometimes perhaps a bit sweet or too decorative to give the messages being conveyed the proper sense of urgency or weight

and all i got was this lousy photograph

here is a great new series entitled ‘screen sirens’ made by photographer ingrid baars whom i worked with early this year, this series is a kind of homage to old movie star portraits

the long awaited ‘dj book’ by krijn was launched in town this afternoon, i popped along to have a peek: it looks great and has been beautifully produced… well done mate, nice work (design by maslow)
