some nifty typography from UK designer/illustrator seb lester i might have mentioned him before but i’m not quite sure (so better twice than never) i especially like the detailed medieval lettering treatment of the word ‘arse’… very nice

the website for film production company ‘lada’ is in the final stages, the logo will be used as a sort of transparant window for various images, which is looking good (as i hoped) so far…

altering typography to the point where it fully replaces image

i first came across the fabulous work of michiel schuurman during the jury for the ‘dutch design awards’ last year, he has a similar blog style website to mine (but maybe a bit easier to navigate around) and his portfolio is definitely worth a visit

very nice work… it’s very apparent that he really enjoys what he does…

some incredibly stark black and white imagery from swedish photographer anders petersen who has been shooting nightlife all over the world for many years, even before i was born (many thanks to the ‘misses’ for the tip)

In 1967 he starts photographing a bar called Café Lehmitz in Hamburg, close to Zeughausmarkt. He was photographing there for a period of almost three years and in 1970 he had his first soloexhibition over the bar in Café Lehmitz with 350 photographs nailed to the wall.
