photographer ‘ruud baan’ and i are putting the finishing touches to the latest ballet poster ‘coppelia’ featuring a series of illustrations by ‘sieb posthuma’ who also designed the costumes and the sets for the ballet, we are making a tabletop set, meant to depict the artists drawing board… looking forward to seeing the end result (a mix of photography illustration and still-life) early next week
i think this is a beautiful little abstract BBC radio promo entitled the iraqi oil minister, which reflects exactly what you get with radio: no pictures, so you make your own image in your head… at least that’s my interpretation
