new work
i have just (literally) completed two new ballet posters which are going into production tomorrow, a new production starting next year ‘don quichot’ (image by ingrid baars) and the reprise of ‘coppelia’ (image by ruud baan with illustrations by ‘sieb posthuma’) as usual i just stick the letters on top :)

i just stumbled upon an interesting google beta thing called image swirl not sure what it’s for exactly but appears to bunch images according to tags… and swirl them around for some reason…

photographer ‘ruud baan’ and i have been given a sony alpha 900 SLR camera with an enormous zoom lens and a big fat motor drive attached to the underside, to use during the upcoming masterclass we are giving for PANL, ruud is away this week, so i decided to test it myself… i will however leave it to the experts to judge this camera because i actually needed to refer to the manual just to switch it on (no joke) it looks pretty impressive to my (easily-impressable) eyes and the fact that it has a really fast motor drive which practically shoots film and sounds like a machine gun firing away is good enough for me, i think i’ll just put it back in the box and watch more capable people use it…
