i was already familiar with his work seeing as he makes all of the imagery for one of my favourite artists ‘four tet’ but the name is new to me: jason evans works for a dazzling array of musicians and fashion companies, with a very outspoken and , well i suppose ‘über hip’ style of photography

he seems to attract the kind of people who aren’t afraid to do something unusual, the indie music scene, vivienne westwood, radiohead and many more have been in front of his lens, i really love this stuff… have a look around there’s plenty to see

p.s. things could be quiet for a few days on the ‘me blog’ as we celebrate our first christmas as a family :) see you next week and i hope you all have a great time wherever you are, love from me xxx

i find these kinds of photo streams fascinating and depressing at the same time, the seemingly random juxtaposition of a neverending roll of photographic images, featuring a mix of cheesecake porn, old archive news, snapshots and historical stuff is addictive but also seems to devalue imagery to a level where it becomes a throwaway commodity… no comment or context just a pile of stuff to rummage through, still there are some great images hidden in there if you have the time…
