i spent the afternoon with ruud baan shooting for the latest ballet production ‘theme and variations’ our idea involves getting a dancer (the beautiful ‘maia’ from georgia) to repeat the same move in different costumes, that’s the thing with ballet dancers when you say ‘do it again’ they do… exactly, more news on this one soon: we now have some complicated cut’n’paste experimentation with a sharp scalpel to do, behind my desk…
‘ruud baan’ and i spent the morning with the photographers in our masterclass and after weeks of preparation the first results are coming in and we weren’t disappointed…
two of our students arrived with completed images today, like this series from lilian who managed to get an upcoming football star called… (sorry i’m not good with names when it comes to football) to model for her
we have arranged for them to spend some time with professional retouchers who will help them prepare the work for publication… well done guys we’re proud of you…
i’ve been trying to update the ‘me work’ portfolio section of the blog for a few months now…
and amazingly, it looks like i might actually get round to it later this week (he said optimistically) check back soon for lots of new pics of new and ‘not so new anymore’ work…
