local artist/photgrapher levi van veluw mailed me yesterday with some new updates to his work, levi is still continuing with the exploration of his own identity… amongst other things he has moved on to inlaid wood veneer as a material and made some new pieces that place a whole different scale on the subject…

i do find myself feeling curious about what his next step will be when this idea has run it’s course… although he already appears to be moving away from photography as a medium

the dutch national newspaper ‘het parool’ did another write-up on the ‘amsterdam things’ project yesterday, this time a much larger and very favourable review about the small photo exhibition we have made in the city archives (till late june) the two language versions of the book are being officially launched this coming sunday at the same location from 3 in the afternoon, bring your kids…

i think that this illustration work by japanese talent kazuki takamatsu i just came across, is absolutely awesome…
