this is a fascinating and also rather embarassing flickr set called similarities, well yes quite… there are some very well-known names in there too, and not just on the left-hand side… oops
hopefully this could serve as a warning to those ‘creatives’ who spend the whole day on ‘fffound’ looking for styles to copy
the process is important
i have been editing some of the ‘making of’ images from my string typo illustration piece (see posts from 1-2 weeks ago) and will upload this and some other new projects to ‘me work’ later this week, here’s a few for starters… the process was definitely more fun than just the finished piece in this case…

i just found an interesting little typography film ‘alphabet’ (abeceda) made in 2000 and inspired by the celebrated book by czech collage artist ‘karel teige’ in the late 1920’s, nice…
