jim from the serif is asking for pictures of work spaces and gave us a mention on his blog, bit of a shame we all seem to have fairly similar boring desks with a white keyboard and the same grey laptop…oh well it’s what’s on the inside that counts eh?
I spent the whole day doing jury duty on the graduation committee for the amsterdam foto academy it was hard work and we all found it tough deciding who got a diploma and who didn’t but i think we chose wisely and the overall level was high in our collective opinion) some of the ‘stand out’ people were polle aubert (people = top), lucia ganieva (people),
julliette erkelens (people = middle), francois hendrickx (landscapes = middle) and a ukranian Natalia Pieterse Biryuchenko (fashion = bottom)
my latest poster for ‘médecins sans frontières’ (i.e. artsen zonder grenzen) is hanging around town, the photo exhibition is being openend by the mayor of amsterdam job cohen tomorrow afternoon, still haven’t seen the other pictures yet…
