i’ve been invited to enter some work for an international exhibition on dutch design later this year (starting in bucharest) and also been asked to take part in a discussion with amongst others ‘anton beeke’ during the ‘dutch theater poster awards’ ceremony next month

a hairdresser i visited today takes his scissors very seriously… but then they are very special scissors, they have ‘knuckle’ joints, which enable him to spin them around and bend them double to fit the form of his hand, very nice

that tattoo must have really hurt though, the things people do for love…

a while ago i posted about a photo-shoot i did for a poster for dutch comedian ‘jochem myjer’

his latest show is called ‘de rust zelve’ which roughly translated means ‘the epitomy of peacefulness’ a very ironic title for someone whose on-stage performance is hyperactive, loud and very wild… ( i must admit i’ve not seem him live yet)

these are some of the preliminary sketches and a selection of the images i chose, none of these will be used as we have chosen a different image, which i am currently working on, more news as soon as it goes to print next week…
