not only is this ten times more fun than using a computer to reduce type size…. it makes it’s own design in the process, ever heard of ‘krimpie dimpie’? no, niether had i untill my girlfriend just showed it to me (she says she invented it too, which i think might not actually be true) it’s a kind of plastc that shrinks and thickens when cut out and placed in the oven, so what about that new logo, does anyone like it?

‘krimpie dimpie’ is suitable for children aged six to uhm… at least 40 and it is a really satisfying word to pronounce as well… how come i never found this stuff before?

caroline glazenburg, graphic design curator for the stedelijk museum (of modern art), visited ‘me studio’ this afternoon to collect some posters and other work, which is being added to the stedelijk’s collection, which is very flattering… it was also good to meet caroline better and it’s always good to share ideas with colleagues who are so passionate about design

amongst the work chosen are (as shown) several ballet posters, the playmobile catalogue, the ‘springlevend’ book and the housestyle i recently made for ‘mirjam flik’

all of the work discussed can also be seen in ‘me work’

a young design student came around this afternoon to photograph me studio, me work and… me face… as part of the presentation for the exhibition in bucharest in november

this provided a great opportunity to give me studio a badly needed (and well overdue) tidy-up, i am also the part-time cleaning lady too…
i was looking through my tokyo pictures and came across this great little ‘adidog’ which i saw in a shop window, it was worth a second post i thought…
