the ‘institut néerlandais’ in paris are hosting a show on willem sandberg from the 28th of nov till the 20th of jan ’08, i have an invite but i’m too busy unfortunately, if anyone should happen to go, let me know how it was… the stedelijk are involved in the show and will be showing some of his lesser known pieces
i got a mail from artbox in amsterdam, about the ‘fed ex’ truck (see previous posts) the image was made by ‘erik thijssen’ at artbox who picked up silver at the IAA awards in London for ‘poster and outdoor’ (congrats from me)
the piece was made for BBDO düsseldorf and can be seen along with other creative truck ‘tarps’ at rhino
wow yet another awards festival… perhaps someone should start a ‘best awards festival’ awards festival…

the large format (A0) versions of the sleeping beauty poster have arrived back from the printers and ‘polly’ seems to approve…
when she’s finished walking all over it, i will be sending it to the stedelijk museum, where it is being added to their permanent ‘graphic design’ collection, perhaps they might like to have polly too?…
